Vivian Francis Sequeira (62), son of the late Joseph Hilary Sequeira and Marceline Sequeira, husband of Rovena Sequeira, father of Savaanha Sequeira and Sharlaine Sequeira, passed away on May 18, 2021.

Funeral rites will take place on Wednesday, May 19 at St Francis Xavier Church, Bejai with Covid restrictions.

It is very shocking to learn that Vivi as we in Taccode knew him from our childhood, our immediate neighbours passed away from this world . Our Mirnyam, his father was also a teacher in the parish school. He prepared all of us for first communion and confirmation and the choir. Hence his children were all brought up in the church compound or convent surrounding. Very friendly family. Ruda my classmate, Gobba my sister's classmate, Remy was my brother's classmate. Hence both the families knew each other very well. All 12 of Mirnyam's children we knew by name. Now six have been called by the Lord. Last September Fr. Cyril went to the Lord and now Vivian the last child of the family. Like his father all the children were friendly and jovial. I met Vivi in 2013 at my sister Benny's funeral in Moodbidri. He brought his Srs. Rosy and Jessy and it was a happy meeting. I have not met his wife and daughters. May the Lord comfort them in their sorrow, also his sisters and brothers Sr. Rosy, Gobba, Ruda, Remy, Ubba and Jessy. It must be very hard for them to digest this untimely loos of their youngest brother. May the Lord grant Vivian eternal rest and bliss in his abode. He has done good while on earth so the Lord will indeed reward him..
