Monica Martis (75), of Market Road, Pangla-Shankerpura, wife of Maurice Martis, sister of Archbishop Emeritus Alphonsus Mathias, and mother of Mark (Mangalore), Sr Maria Goretti (Mysore), Martin (Mumbai), Dr John (Surgeon, Fr Muller Hospital, Mangalore), Shanti (+ Maxy D'Costa, Urwa/Muscat), Edward (Dubai), Richard (Shankerpura) and Steven Louis (Abu Dhabi), passed away on October 5.

Funeral cortege will leave residence for the Church of St John the Evangelist, Shankerpura-Pangla at 4 pm on Saturday, October 7, followed by funeral Mass at 4-30 pm.
