Clement D'Souza (73) Bendur, Retired professor of Economics at St Agnes College, son of the late Simon D'Souza and Mary D'Souza, husband of Prescilla D'Souza, father of Kevin Preeth, father in law of Pearl D'Souza, grandfather of Naomi, brother of Gilbert D'Souza /Agnes passed away on Friday, Jul 17, 2020.

Mortal remains will be kept for prayers and to pay homage in St Sebastian Church, Bendur, Mangalore at 3.00 pm, followed by Mass at 3.30pm on Monday, July 27 at St Sebastian Church, Bendur Cemetery.

My good friend, a great human being, my teacher of NLP . We exchanged our thoughts when we met in a holy communion programme a year ago. Due to my health problems may not be able to meet his beloved wife and Son today. He left behind hundreds of admirers of his achievements. Lord bless his soul and his soul transit be made easy.

The news of Friday the 17th July before noon was shocking and heart breaking . It was just too difficult to believe.

Prof Clement introduced me to NLP about a decade and a half ago and since then apart from being my guru he was my close friend too. We often shared NLP learning, fun and laughter, thrills and pains Among the several great qualities that Prof.Clement possessed there has been a single most commitment that I admired about him. Whenever someone approached him with an issue of health, career, relationship,... he would attempt to clear it without any delay. He would pursue to find solutions with all the energy learning that he had. He was an avid reader and would share with me his learning. I'm indebted to him.
And now as he exits he leaves a void in many.

With shock and disbelief, I received the news of Prof. Clement D'Souza's demise. I have known him as a participant in Dr. Dick Mc Hugh's NLP class ( where I was assisting Dick Mc Hugh). I saw him as a keen and honest learner. Later when he came for his advanced course and other courses by Dr. Dick Mc. Hugh, I came to know his human and compassionate side. He was loved by all the participants in all the groups for his humour. He was so generous in demonstrating his Hypnotic skills to other participants and sometimes we had a huge crowd keenly observing him during lunch break and after class.
His work in NLP has helped many people in Mangalore and other places. He was creatively integrating skills of Hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, and Gestalt in his therapeutic work which helped many people to overcome their Phobias, traumas, and other challenges.
