Sr M Suman BS of The Holy Family (60) nee Maxina Secundina D’Souza of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany of North East Province passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 due to cardiac arrest at ILS Hospital, Agartala, Tripura, in the 39th year of her Religious Profession.

Sr Suman hails from Little Flower Church, Kallamundkur, Niddodi Parish, of Mangalore Diocese. She is the daughter of the late Baptist D’Souza and the late Alice Goveas. Two of her elder Sisters, Sr Justinian and Sr Severine are Bethany Sisters. She has a Priest brother Fr Ronald D’Souza serving in Jhansi Diocese.

Funeral rites will be held at Bethany Provincial House at 10.00 am on Saturday, July 27 at Guwahati.

Really shocked and sorry that Sr. Suman went away so fast. Heartfelt condolences to her family members. I knew all the three Bethany sisters Justinian, Severine and Suman. Sr.Justinian and myself were together in Bhatinda and she is a friend of mine and my junior in the novitiate. All three of them have visited me several times in the Ashram. This sudden death is painful to the family and friends. We really do not know God's plan in our life. We only have to surrender. We pray that God may grant her eternal rest in his heavenly abode and comfort to all her family members.
