Beach Safari, Luxury Yacht to Make Panambur More Fun

Mangalore, Mar 31: The beauty of Panambur beach is illustrious to the people of Mangalore as well as to the tourists who visit it. The beach festival every year has made it even more popular.

To add to the nature’s beauty and to attract more tourists, a unique beach safari and luxury yachts will make their way this year.

Beach Safari – A Thrilling Experience

The summer beach safari is a first-of-its-kind concept in the entire state and probably in the country as well. Every Saturday evening, people visiting the beach will receive special treatment including a splendid treat of a variety of entertainment programmes. On the next day – Sunday - they can get a feel of various adventurous water sports like speed boat ride, jet ski, ride on the country boats and so on.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project CEO Yatish Baikampady said that beach safari is sure to provide wholesome excitement to the visitors. "Keeping in mind the exam schedule of students, we have decided to start it from mid-April. If the concept clicks it would be a major attraction at Panambur in the days to come," he added.

The safari experience in other countries is quite expensive but in Panambur it will meet the local demands, Yathish informed.

Luxurious Yacht – A Rare Trip on the Ocean

Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project in collaboration with a French company has planned to introduce luxurious yachts in Panambur. The yachts will be functional in the month of October. It will be a fully-loaded, twin-bedded, eight-bedroom yacht with all the required facilities.

The concept is inspired by the success of a similar venture in Maldives by the French company. The yacht will be operated in Panambur beach, between Mangalore and Goa, Karwar, St Mary’s Island and if permitted, also to Lakshadweep. A day charter will also be introduced which can accommodate 50 people altogether, said Yathish.

With the implementation of these concepts Panambur beach is sure to witness remarkable progress and will undoubtedly colour Mangalore’s tourism industry.
