Mumbai, Oct 27: Durgambika Bhajana Mandali in Churchgate MLA hostel canteen celebrated the 47th annual Dasara festival in a simple manner under the leadership of the canteen convener Ajanta Caterers, Jayarama Shetty Inna and in association with the canteen employees.

Pujas and Bhajans were held every day from October 17 till October 25. Bhajans and various pujas were held for Vijaya Dashami on October 25 from morning till afternoon. Prasada was distributed and meals were served on that day. The Kalasa was immersed in the evening.

Mira Road Vidhwan Subrahmanya Bhat conducted the pujas in association with Kartik Bhat and Vittal Sherigar.

Navin Shetty, Raja Poojary, Vittal Sherigar, Pravin Shetty, Subhash Nayak, Chandra Suvarna, Yogesh Putran, Dinesh Putran, Bhasker N Mogaveera, Somashekar Bangera, Jaya Bangera, Krishna Harish Khedekar, Suresh Shetty, Prakash Shetty, Rajesh Shetty, Prashanth Shetty, Yogesh Bangera, Deepak Shetty, Ramesh Billava, Navin Shetty Vikhroli and others took part in the rituals.
