Mangaluru, Oct 26: RR Films International a well-known movie and serial production house is all set to launch its new Konkani serial, which will telecast on DaijiworldTv247. The Muhurat for the serial was held at Naguri on Monday, October 26.

The first ‘action’ was voiced by Walter Nandalike, founder of Daijiworld Group and Rons London, producer of the serial. Alexis Castelino director, DaijiworldTV, Stany Bela serial director, Jeevan D'Souza serial producer, Ashith Glen Pinto production director, Daijiworld, Praveen Tauro marketing head, Daijiworld were present.

Speaking on this occasion Walter Nandalike said, “Rons London is a familiar face for the audience through his work in Konkani and Tulu movies. Now he has come forward to produce a Konkani serial which will be telecasted on Daijiworld TV. We must appreciate his interest in entertaining the people during these tough times. It is a matter of happiness to know the kind of experienced team working behind this serial. The show will definitely reach people in a form of entertainment along with a social message.

Giving his best wishes to the team Rons London said, “I am glad to handover my first project to an experienced team. It is not easy to bring a smile on persons face. However, actors can bring happiness on faces by their acting. An entertainer always understands persons sorrows and feelings. An actor expresses the same by his acting which becomes a reflection of his life. The serial Godfather is also a reflection of our society and individuals. I am happy to work with the director and artists who have displayed their abilities in earlier projects."

Jeevan Vas, ‘Dennu’ fame actor said, "We are always thankful to the audience who have accepted us as their own family members through our first serial Mrs Meena and Family. Daijworld gave us a platform to exhibit our talent and reach different corners of the globe. Now through Godfather, we have once again got the opportunity to showcase our talent on TV. It is a wonderful experience to work with young and energetic director Stany Bela. On behalf of all actors, I wish all the success to the producer and director of the serial."

Godfather is a Konkani serial written and directed by Stany Bela. Rons London is producing this serial under banner RR films International for Daijiworld TV. Well-known artistes Mellu Valencia, Jeevan Vas Kulshekar, Sapna Saldanha Vamanjoor, Rita Fernandes Bendur, Shanthi Priya Lasrado Bondel, Joshel D'Souza Derebail, Shweta Vas Kulshekar, and Sheldon Tauro Bondel will be playing major characters in this serial. Durga Prasad Kakkepadav, Kiran Kotian Kepu and Daya Kukkaje will be handling the DOP and unit.
