Udupi: St Mary's College organizes international webinar on 'Breaking the Stress During Pandemic'

Udupi, Oct 25: The department of English and department of physical education in association with the IQAC, NSS and Rovers and Rangers of St Mary's College Shirva organized an international webinar on the topic 'Breaking the Stress during a Pandemic'. Deek Parssini from UAE, who is known for his positive influence on people was the resource person. He covered topics like stress, causes of stress, management of stress, stage fear, suicide and also shared his own story to motivate students.



 

The webinar was presided over by Dr Herald Ivan Monis principal of St Mary’s College, who delivered a warm message to the attendees. Kostyanv Gonsalvis lecturer, department of English, welcomed the participants, Premanatha assistant professor, department of History, introduced the guest to the participant, Jeff Sunny D'Souza director, physical education proposed the vote of thanks. More than 1,000 participants from across the globe benefitted from the webinar via different platforms like YouTube live and Facebook live.

The webinar was compered by Kostyanv Gonsalvis.
