Mangaluru, Oct 22: Corporator Kiran Kumar Kodikal of Bangrakulur ward has become a model for pot manure processing by the inspiration of prime minister Modi’s Swachh Bharath and Atmanirbhar dream and the guidance of Ramakrishna Mission.

Bangrakulur ward corporator and standing committee president Kiran Kumar Kodikal has begun segregation of waste and processing of wet waste for manure in a pot. He has encouraged the process keeping in mind that our country, state and our city should remain clean.

Speaking to Daijiworld, he said that Ramakrishna Mission has set the practice in motion and is trying to make the process reach every house. “I have personally prepared a video at my residence and sent it to Facebook. The people who saw it demanded that they too want to experiment with it. Therefore, I am collecting pots and sending them to houses. The people in my ward are benefited from it. Ramakrishna Missions are supporting it showing a demo about how the manure should be processed in the pots. The wet waste can be reduced considerably by the method. There is no doubt that our environment, our Bangrakulur and our Mangaluru will look clean if the waste is disposed of in this manner.”

He is bringing pots to his residence to make them easily available to people and to make the dream of Atmanirbhar Bharat of the prime minister a reality. He said that environmental pollution can be reduced in this manner.
