Beltangady: Sacred Heart College Madanthyar celebrates NSS Day

Beltangady, Sep 24: National Service Scheme (NSS) of Sacred Heart College organised the NSS Day on September 24, 2020. The programme was organised through Google meet. NSS programme officer Prof Janardhanan Nair welcomed the guest.

Prof Prakash Kramadhari, HOD of department of Sociology was the key note speaker. He emphasised the role of NSS volunteers in the nation building and in the social change and how through NSS one can change the society and self.

Special invitee Shantappa, Yuva Spandana district co ordinator informed about the various counselling programmes under the Yuva Spandana project.

The principal Dr Joseph N M in his presidential remark greeted everyone and congratulated the volunteers for arranging the programme. He also shared his experience in NSS.

Approximately 120 students and staff actively participated in the programme. NSS programme officer Robin Joseph Sera compered the programme
