Mangaluru: Yenepoya Institute for first time achieves Rank A (6-25) ranking in ARIIA

Mangaluru, Aug 21: The Government of India, ministry of education has begun ‘Atal Rankings of Institution and Innovation Achievements’ to include institutes in various bands considering global parameters.

The institutes this year are placed on the basis of the following six parameters:

  1. IPR, innovation, beginning and programmes and activities that are conducive for entrepreneurship.
  2. Basic facilities pre-incubation and incubation and I & E supported facilities
  3. Expenditure for an annual budget to support and encourage I & E activities
  4. Courses on innovation, IPR and entrepreneurship development
  5. IP technology transfer and commercialization
  6. Successful innovation and startups and financial support for innovation and startups

The institutes are divided widely as those who have obtained monetary help from the public, private or self-help finance organizations.

Over 674 institutes took part under ARIIA ranking in 2020 and Yenepoya Institute has secured for the first time under private and self-financing institutes Rank A (6-25) ranking.
