Dubai: Visitors in UAE on expired visit visas can stay for one more month

Dubai, Aug 11: The Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship here has allowed a month’s grace period to foreigners in UAE holding expired visit visas. The visitors will be able to leave the country without payment of fine during the grace period if their visas have expired after March 1.

Visitors overstaying in the country otherwise are liable to pay a fine of $54 on the first day and $27 for each of the days that follow.

The country has cancelled the extension till the end of the year announced to visitors earlier.
