Udupi: Rough sea throw sand on road - Hinders vehicle movement

Udupi, Aug 6: Huge amount of sand from the sea was thrown on the road by ferocious waves at Padukere in Udyavar gram panchayat limits hindering the smooth flow of vehicles.

District panchayat president Dinakar Babu who came to know of the situation visited the place along with deputy commissioner DC Jagadeesha and discussed solutions to solve the problem.

Deputy commissioner G Jagadeesha, Udupi tahsildar Pradeep Kurdekar, revenue officer Vishwanath, Ravi Padukere, Krishna, Ranjan Padukere and villagers were present.
