Udupi: District nodal officer tests positive for coronavirus

Udupi, Aug 6: Number of coronavirus infections are increasing in the district day by day. Covid-19 nodal officer of the district has tested positive for coronavirus infection on Thursday, August 6.

The officer was working as Covid-19 nodal officer in the district since four months. He was overlooking the responsibility of treatment of infected people.

Dr Sudhirchandra Sooda, district health and family welfare officer, who was interacting closely with the officer, has proceeded on home quarantine as a precaution.
