Udupi: Home Isolation Care Program Package, kit released at Kasturba Hospital Manipal

Udupi, Jul 29: None of the pandemics in the last few decades have affected humans so severely as COVID-19. The number of active cases is increasing day by day. Proper precaution is required to prevent further spread. In this regard, the central and state governments are releasing frequent guidelines to help people stay safe. Patients and family members who are isolated at home are given a separate guideline. It is mandatory to follow these guidelines by the patients, family members and those who become isolated and quarantined at home.

The Home Isolation Care Program and Kit have been released by the Kasturba Hospital Manipal to benefit home isolated and home quarantined family members and all the public. C G Muthana, chief operating officer and Dr Avinash Shetty, medical superintendent of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal released the package and kit by handing over the first kit. Sachin Karanth, head marketing and Jibu Thamas, head operations were present.

There are two types of ten days package and kit available to the public. Basic Home Isolation and Care program kit @ Rs 4000, which includes 1 Digital Thermometer, 1 Pulse Oximeter, 10 Nos - 3ply Mask, 1 PPE Kit, 1 Hand Sanitizer (500ml), Vital Chart, 3 free Video Consultation from the Doctor (DAY 1/DAY 5/DAY 9), 1 Video Diet Consultation, daily one Nursing Video consultation included in the package.

Comprehensive Home Isolation and Care program kit available @ Rs 6000 and one BP Apparatus will get extra apart from the above package.
