Karkala: Nandalike Abbanadka Friends Club inaugurates road signboard in Tulu

Karkala, Jul 21: A road sign of Durgaparameshwari Friends Club written in Tulu was inaugurated here on Monday. There is ample praise on social media for the club’s love for Tulu.

Biruver Kudla, organizing secretary while inaugurating the signboard said that the club has become a model by writing the signboard in Tulu. Belman JCI president Indaru Satyanarayana Bhat was the chief guest.

“People are forgetting their native language due to love for English. The study of Tulu should begin in every village. May Abbanadka Club be an inspiration to all in this connection,” said Abbanadka Leo Club president Nandalike Prashanth Poojary, guest of honour.



Nandalike Friends Club president Abbanadka Sathish Poojary presided over the programme. Club convener Abbanadka Sandeep V Poojary, former president Nandalike Rajesh Kotian, Abbanadka Bhajana Samiti president, Bola Manjunath Acharya, Ganeshotsava samiti president, Bola Udaya Anchan, Vanadurga self-help groups president, Lalitha Acharya, club joint secretary, Kuntalagundi Sandhya Shetty, members, Pushpa Kulal, Padmashree Poojary, Arati Kumari and others were present.
