Udupi, Jul 2: Udupi district Congress chief secretary, Kishan Hegde Kolkebail vowed to grow and nurture green on the occasion of D K Shivakumar taking oath as new KPCC president.

The green programme is held so that the memories of D K Shivakumar’s oath taking may remain for a long time. Everybody planted a sapling and congratulated the new KPCC president. “The green programme will continue uninterrupted for the next three months,” said Kishan Hegde Kolkebail.



Congress activists and fans of D K Shivaram planted saplings in Kota, Vaddarse, Sayabrakatte, Shiriyara, Yadthadi, Billadi gram panchayat limits and other places.
