Please expect 0.05 to 0.1% of the population getting infected in India before the pandemic disappers.

Jossey, never ever it will happen.
Symptomatic and asymptomatic...put together, total infections will not even reach 0.5 percent of the population in India.
    Mark my words.

In India many cases are not reported (mainly asymptomatic and cases in remote places) and only complicated cases come up to the fore. Hence the number looks very small compared to the population. Only increased testing will give the better idea and testing should be increased at least 20 times. Then Jossey may win the offer hands down.

Experts say worst is yet to come. However let us pray not for the worst but this virus need to be eradicated at the earliest.

Shankar - Majority (70-80 %) WILL HAVE to be infected with the virus for India to come out of this crisis. Some people may have already been infected, shown little or no symptoms and recovered on their own - so they are not in the count. Even a vaccine if found will contain traces of the virus. You need to know the SCIENCE behind it and not just listen to ministers or media.
