Mangaluru: Five-day online workshop on 'Cyber Security' held at NITK Surathkal

Mangaluru, May 27: AICTE sponsored a five-day online workshop on 'Cyber Security' at the department of Information Technology, NITK Surathkal.

The department of Information Technology, NITK Surathkal, is organizing the AICTE-sponsored five-day online workshop on 'Cyber Security' from May 25 to 29. It is organized under the AICTE Training and Learning Academy (ATAL) scheme. The workshop will be conducted online and about 175 faculty members and students will be participating in the workshop.

The inaugural function of the workshop, was conducted on May 25 at 9.30 am by AICTE, along with 13 other online workshops in different organizations, during which Professor Ananthanarayana V S, the deputy director of NITK addressed the participants. As part of the online workshop, several expert lectures and sessions on topics in Cybersecurity will be presented by eminent resource persons from IITs, NITs and industry organizations.

The objective is to expose the participants to the concepts, technologies and emerging research challenges in the domain.
