Mangaluru: Sahyadri Group of Industries manufacture contactless hand sanitizer dispensers

Mangaluru, May 26: Sahyadri Group of Industries manufactured two types of contactless hand sanitizer dispensers, namely - Foot press dispenser and sensor-based dispenser.

The foot press dispenser is manufactured by the department of Mechanical Engineering under the supervision of Dr Ravichandra K R, head of the department of Mechanical Engineering, Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management, here and the sensor-based dispensers are manufactured by Research Design Labs at Sahyadri Campus under the guidance of Raghavendra Shetty, CEO, RDL Technologies.

The dispensers can be used by both public and private sector industries in their fight against COVID-19. A laudable feature is that, students of Sahyadri have actively participated in the design and implementation of these products.

• Steel made with long life
• Capacity of 2 litres

Features of the sensor-based dispenser
• Touch-free usage
• Capacity of 12 litres
• A knob to control the flow of sanitizer

The foot press sanitizer and sensor-based sanitizer dispenser set are yet to reach Bengaluru. Even though there are a lot of issues with raw materials, the highest priority is the customer. Sahyadri thanks all those vendors for being with them during the toughest time. Sahyadri is next stepping ahead for the release of 'No touch IoT based sanitizer Dispenser'.
