Mapusa market meat stalls to operate in phased manner

Panaji, May 22: On Thursday, May 21, the Mapusa municipal council (MMC) had taken the decision to let mutton and chicken stalls operate in a phased manner. The decision has helped in managing the shopping crowds at the town's municipal market.

MMC had begun operations of the municipal market after lockdown relaxations were announced by the state government including fish market in a less steady manner.

Likewise, the civic body had decided to operate at 50 percent capacity on pork and beef stalls in the market and said that the it would operate only between 7 AM to 3 PM.
