Kolar, Feb 18: A man, who is the quest of buying a luxury car, sold his car and also lost lac of rupees and now owns just a old tipper truck.

Narayanaswmay, a resident of Chikkanayakanahalli of Malur taluk of the district is the person who is taken for a ride. He came in contact with Mansoor Pasha and Prakash Babu in the Alsa Granite Company, in which he used to work. Both Mansoor and Prakash lured Narayanaswamy to sell his car and buy new luxury car.

Believing the two friends, Narayanaswamy sold his Tata Safari car for Rs 3.10 lac through Mansoor Pasha. The duo used this money to get Rs 6.15 lac loan to buy Ertiga car in Manappuram Finance company.

Narayanswamy, who believed the rosy words of his friends, was waiting for the Ertiga car. However, only an old tipper truck was delivered to his door. When Narayanaswamy tried to contact his friends they had already escaped after deceiving him.

When Narayanaswamy contacted Manappuram Finance, he came to know the whole story. Mansoor Pasha and Babu Prakash had given the documents to get Rs 6.50 lac loan from Manappuram finance company to buy an Ertiga car. Narayanaswamy did not verify the documents given to him by Mansoor and Babu and just put his signature. When he went to Manappuram finance company, he came to know that he had signed the documents for a tipper truck and not car.

In addition, Mansoor Pasha has sold his old tipper truck to Narayanaswamy and has taken loan on that also.

Now, the Manappuram finance company has served notice to Narayanaswamy to pay the loan of Rs 6.50 lac on tipper as it is in his name now. Narayanaswamy, who is totally devastated by losing his car and Rs 9.60 lac has now approached the police for help.
