Byndoor, Jan 22: “When traditional sources of energy get exhausted, relying on alternative sources becomes inevitable. As it is possible to use environment friendly solar energy that is available freely and in abundance, people should turn to it,” said Karnataka Grameena Vikas Bank president P Gopikrishna.

He was speaking after inaugurating ‘Vikasa Saura Swavalambaneya Modala Sadhane’ (first achievement of dependence on solar energy) held jointly by the bank and Selco Solar light at Mahishasura Mardhini auditorium on Wednesday.

Therefore, Selco Solar Lights provides electricity for lighting and for sixty machines that are necessary for self employment. The bank lends subsidy based loan for their installation.
