Mangaluru: Inauguration of Shakthi Advanced Learning held

Mangaluru, Nov 12: “There is no dearth of Educational institutions, but the number of institutions which impart quality education is very less in India. Right from their school days the students should come to know how to accept defeat and victory. They must be made to understand that every defeat is a stepping stone for their success in future. Education should help them in mental, physical, spiritual, social and sensational growth – said P Subramanya Yadapadithaya, the vice chancellor of Mangalore University.

He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Shakthi Advanced Learning at Shakthinagar, Mangaluru under the auspices of Shakthi Residential School managed by Shakthi Education Trust.



He gave a call to the teachers and the management that they must be able to go beyond the syllabus and help them to face the challenges in life. No one is born dullard, if the opportunities are given the latent talents and skills hidden will come out he said.

N Vinay Hegde, the chancellor of Nitte deemed to be university presided over the function. He said that more than the marks the students secure, education should aim at character building of the students. It helps them to build the nation. He told the students to give respect to the parents and teachers.

Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, the president of Kannada Sahithya Parishat, Dakshina Kannada told the students to aim high and try to reach them with sincere efforts.

Vidya Kamath G, the principal of Shakthi Residential School delivered the welcome address. Sanjith Naik, the secretary of Shakthi Education Trust spoke about Shakthi Institutions. Darshan Raj, the co-ordinator of Shakthi Advanced Learning delivered key note address. Prabhakara G S, the principal of Shakthi PU College proposed the vote of thanks. Chetna Naik and Manasa compered the programme.

K C Naik, the founder of Shakthi Institutions, Baikady Janardana Achar, the administrator of Shakthi Education Trust, Ramesh K, the chief advisor Prakyath Rai, the institute development officer and Neema Saxena, the co-ordinator of Shree Gopalakrishna Pre-school were present.
