The Only reasons these things happen in Mlore is because of our recently acquired passion for blowing these incidents out of prorportion and jumping to conclusions without facts. This attitude by us only has given rise to Fanatics adn communal goons and the politicians who take advantage of the situation for thier personnel gains. There is no way to avoid these incidents, Today it was a temple, tomorrow some other temple, then if not a temple some other place.. Why react when you know the intent is to create nuisance.

Dear Responsible Citizens of Mangalore, please do not take this as a pretext to destroy the peace in our home city. We had enough in the name of religion. Please have restraint. At the same time I request our D.K. police to investigate the incident and arrest the culprits responsible for such shameful & irresponsible act.

Some unseen hands has clearly worked behind the act. Police should trace out those anti-social elements trying to create problem in society. Furthur such guilty should be severly penalised for creating problems.

Police & administration must get to the bottom of this with an iron fist.Guilty should be punished severely.Political Parties should come out clean on this issue and condemn it and NOT interfere in police investigation/prosecution.

I wonder who benefits politically from social disturbances in the name of religion? I implore the Mangaloreans and Hindus in general to see through the evil designs of communal groups who engineer such acts to break the fabric of our multi-cultural, multi-religious, multi-ethnic society. My fellowmen, take every opportunity to condemn such criminals and do not give them any leeway to influence our collective destinies.

Dear Shanawaz Kukkikatte, Please do not jump into conclusion. Of course the incidence is very sad and uncalled for but do not presume that it is definitely done by Muslims. This unholy incidence could be the work of some wicked minded Muslims but we cannot generalize that all miscreant activities against Hindus are necessarily done by Muslims. If you turn back and look into the past a few years of DK you will understand that this is a clear pre-planned strategy by some vested interest group to stir the peace in the region, especially during the forthcoming month of Ramadan. My request to dear Hindu brothers and sisters is that do not always get carried away by the mass hysteria that all such incidence against Hindus are necessarily the handiwork of Muslims, there is another side to the coin too.

Its really sickening. People have no brains. They dont know how to co exist. If one doesnt respect the feelings of his neighbour, he has no place in the society. Cows are sacred to hindus, so everyone living in India must respect this sentiment.

Culprits must be booked and punished. All civilized people must stay united and help the authorities in bringing the perperators to justice. No religious places are to desrecated and must be considered as holy by all communities. LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR.
