Mangaluru: Shakthi students earn laurels at Mangalore Open Karate Championship

Mangaluru, Oct 22: In the Mangalore Open Karate Championship – 2019, organised by the Institute of Karate and Martial Arts – JSKA Karnataka, students of Shakthi Residential School and Shakthi PU College Shakthinagar won laurels and accolades for their outstanding performance.

The winners were under the guidance of Arjun Shetty of Dragon First Karate and Self Defence.

Nafieh Sheik won gold and bronze in Kata and Kumite respectively. Chiranth NMK won silver in Kumite, while Mehfuz Rumi also won silver in Kata. Nahshal won a bronze medal in Kumite and Tamim Rumi and Rijul won bronze in Kata and Shakthi PU College student Anjali Jogi won gold and bronze in Kumite and Kata.
