Kozhikode, Sep 18: A man on a two-wheeler escaped a gruesome end after he was hit by a private bus. The incident took place near the Engapuzha bus stand in Puthuppadi, Kerala.
Camera footage of the incident which was released showed the victim of the accident getting dragged for a few metres before the bus comes to a halt.
Some of the other pedestrians are also seen in the footage trying to signal the bus driver to stop. The victim reportedly sustained minor external injuries after people helped free him from under the bus.
As per local sources, the bus also hit a couple of other stationery vehicles and injured four other people.
