Bantwal: Intercollegiate quiz competition ‘Euphoria’ held at Carmel College Modankap

Bantwal, Sep 16: Carmel College organized a general quiz competition for the II PUC students of the taluk by providing them with an interactive platform to enhance knowledge and seek opportunities to excel beyond the academic.

Mohammad Safwan, district manager Karnataka Minority Development Corporation was the chief guest for the valedictory programme. In his address, he motivated the students to appear in larger numbers for the competitive exams and to explore themselves by grabbing opportunities in life to excel in all spheres.


The quiz was conducted by quizmaster Joel Mascarenhas.



A total of 20 teams from different colleges participated in the competition. Through the prelims, the top six teams were selected for the final round. Priston Sequeira and Aneesh Pinto of Carmel Composite PU College, Modankap were the winners of the Euphoria quiz contest 2019.

The second place was backed by Shreenidhi Pathoor and Pareekshith Kumar B of Carmel Composite PU College, Modankap.

Third place was backed by Sushanth and Avijith from Government PU College, Siddakatte. All the winners were felicitated with trophies, certificates and cash prizes.

College principal Dr Sr Latha AC, joint secretary Maria Priya A C, Sr Maria Naveena AC, vice principal Florine Menezes, quiz co-ordinator Joel Mascarenhas, assistant co-ordinator Bavitha, student president Babitha Pereira were present on the dais.
