Mangaluru: St Agnes College addresses challenges faced by youth in seminar

Mangaluru, Aug 13: St Agnes College (autonomous), here organized a seminar on 'Youth – A wonderful gift' for all the student of the college on August 1, 2 and 3 in different batches.

The resource person was Shaline Coelho, relationship manager, HSBC Bank Middle East, an alumna of the college.

The session focused on ‘Youth – a wonderful Gift’- The challenges of youth in today’s society. She emphasized on the problems youth face when it comes to facing peer pressure.

The session was followed by a movie about a young lady and the strong convictions that prevented her from succumbing to pressure which threatened the very foundations of her values. This was followed by students' review on the movie.

Students were exhorted to realize their worth, innate potentials, preserve their purity, live by honesty and obedience to their elders and use their gift and talents for noble causes.



She provided the students with a book about the essence of womanhood and a pride to cherish it.
