Moodbidri: Retired teacher Krishna Bhat loses life in accident

Moodbidri, Jul 19: Retired teacher, Krishna Bhat (81), a resident of Kana, was hit by a bus when crossing the road at Alangaru on Thursday July 18. Bhat was a resident of Kana.

Bhat was hit by a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus moving towards the town from Karkala. Bhat had served at various places including Ajekar, Sagar, Kana etc before retiring. He is survived by wife, two sons, and two daughters.

Moodbidri police have registered a case.
