Moodbidiri: Vanamahotsava observed at Carmel School

Moodbidiri, Jul 11: Vanamahotsava tree planting festival was celebrated on July 10 at Carmel School, here.

The celebration was an opportunity to instil the value of social responsibility in the students toward safeguarding trees.

The awareness programme was put up by the students of class 8. It began with a prayer followed by cultural programmes.

The chief guest Prakash Poojary, range forest officer Manjunath Ganiga deputy range officer, the Rotary Club president C H Gafue highlighted the importance of Vanamahotsava in their speech.



After the stage programme the students along with the chief guest planted saplings in the school campus.
