Mangaluru: Bertrand Russell School holds campaign against plastic bags

Mangaluru, Jul 8: Students of Bertrand Russell English Medium High School, Baikampady organised a ‘Ban plastic bags and save environment’ campaign on July 6 at Baikampady APMC junction.

Around 50 students participated in the programme and distributed paper bags to the shopkeepers. Students told about negative effects of plastic bags on environment and appealed them not to use plastic bags.



The students requested the public not to use plastic and also save environment for the future generation.
