Mangaluru: Twelve NEET toppers out of 50 in state are from Expert PU College

Mangaluru, Jun 26: The list of toppers in the state in NEET examinations for medical entrance held on all India level has been announced. Out of first the 50 toppers, twelve toppers are from Expert Pre University College.

“It is commendable that 24%, that is 12 ranks out of 50 are bagged by one pre university college students. It is a special achievement,” said institute chairman Narendra L Nayak.

The students are Ankit Vishal Pandit (15th rank), Ashay Jain C A (17), Joseph John (18), Kartik Palled (22), Bhuvan V B (26), Vickson Stevin D’ Souza (27), Vidya Maudgallya B M(28), Prameeth S (29), Sevanth Sagar M (31), Mahendra V (32), Atharva N Pillai (43) and Amisha B Somayagi (48).

While 56% students in the country and 63.25% in the state who wrote NEET examination have become eligible, 97.77% students of Expert PU College have become eligible.

    Cut off for NEET eligibility is so low ie, 134 out of 720. It is surprising to know that some of the students (2.23%) who were coached by Expert could get minimum 134 score required for the eligibility.
