Saini's last rites performed in Sikar


Jaipur, Jun 25 (IANS): The last rites of BJP state president Madanlal Saini were performed on Tuesday in Sikar around 4 p.m.

Saini, 75, died at AIIMS Delhi on Monday after "blood-related" issues.

His son Manoj Saini lit the pyre in the presence of several senior leaders, including party working president J.P. senior RSS leader Krishna Gopal, Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, amid the chanting of vedic mantras.

Earlier, many leaders, including Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, paid tributes to him at the BJP state headquarters.

Later his body was taken to Sikar for people to pay their tributes at different places.
