Mumbai: Deyi Baitdeti tulu film shown in Billavara Bhavan

Mumbai, Apr 8: ‘Deyi Baideti’ tulu film was on April 7 screened at Billavara Bhavan, Santacruz east here by Brahma Baidarkala Garodi Seva Trust.

The sensor board which saw a part of the amazing history of Tulunad has appreciated the film and issued U certificate to it. Suryodaya Perampalli has written the script, dialogues and shouldered the responsibility of its production and direction.

Suryodaya Perampalli, entrepreneur, donor Herga Babu Poojary, guests of honour Bharath Bank director Sharada Sooru Karkera, Purushotham S Kotian, Garodi Trust president Nithyananda D Kotian, vice president C K Ameen, D B Ameen, advisor Shanker Suvarna, chief secretary Sanjiva Poojary Thonse were on the dais.



House sets and clothing that resembles the tradition and lifestyles about 500 years ago are shown in the film. The film is based on extraordinary courage and sacrifices of an ordinary woman for the welfare of citizens. Suryodaya Perampalli has the experience of about 25 years of working in Kannada, Tamil and Tulu films.

Seva Trust’s Ashok M Kotian, Suresh Anchan, K Gopal Palan Kallianpur, Krishna Palan, V C Poojary, Roopkumar Kallianpur, Udaya S Poojary and others were present.

Vishwanath Thonse welcomed the gathering, gave an introduction, introduced the guests and compered the programme. Trust office bearers offered floral tributes to the guests and honored them. Sanijiva Poojary Thonse proposed the vote of thanks.
