Mangalore, Feb 21: FM Radio station 93.5 SFM, a part of Kal Radio Limited, celebrated its first anniversary of broadcasting in the city on Saturday February 21.

Addressing media persons at its office, station head Shankar Bhoopathy said that they have been able to become the listeners’ choice and a household name within a span of one year.

He attributed this success to their being a round-the-clock station which keeps the audience entertained and provides the right platform for clients to showcase their products. Bhoopathy said that this had been possible only through team work and passionate commitment.

“The station has also made its mark in the city with some partner tie-ups like the National Consumer Fair, Mangalore Dasara, Gemini Circus, and Karavali Utsav”, he added.

The channel has also been the media partner for some of college fests and had conducted a ‘Child RJ Hunt’ to showcase young talent on the occasion of children’s day, said Bhoopathy.

The staff of the radio station were present at the press meet.
