Dule Hill hopes for 'Psych: The Movie' sequel

New Delhi, Feb 11 (IANS): American actor Dule Hill hopes there is another chapter added to the "Psych: The Movie" franchise, and is sure the cast would be in for it.

"There is talk about doing some more sequels. I hope we do many and continue the series," Hill told IANS.

"The cast will be down for it," he added.

"Psych: The Movie", aired in India on Sony PIX, picks up right where the comedy show "Psych", aired from 2006 to 2014, finished. It stars James Roday, Hill, Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson, Kirsten Nelson and Corbin Bernsen.

It follows "Psych" characters three years later in San Francisco. It revolves around best friends Shawn Spencer (Roday) and Burton "Gus" Guster (Hill) and how they solve crime cases together.

Talking about the storyline of the impending sequel, he said: "I don't exactly know what is in the mind of the makers. I don't know where we will go next if we get a chance to do another one.

"But I think it would be a lot to do with Carlton Lassiter's character because the last film unfortunately didn't have a major role. If we get to do another one, I am sure it will be a lot around Lassiter and what is going on with his life."
