PDP leaders protest in Secretariat against civilian killings


Jammu, Dec 17 (IANS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders on Monday protested inside the Secretariat here against the killing of civilians in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district by security forces.

PDP leaders Firdous Tak, Aijaz Mir and Yawar Mir, who had gathered inside the canteen of the Secretariat, came out on the lawns of the complex along with some supporters carrying banners demanding an end to civilian killings in the Kashmir Valley.

The Secretariat houses all top offices of the state government and functions on a six-monthly basis in winter capital Jammu and summer capital Srinagar.
