Mysuru, Sep 24: In a car accident that occurred on the early morning of Monday, September 24, at the Hinkal Ring Road near here, popular Sandalwood cine actors Darshan, senior actor Devraj, Devraj's son Prajwal and one of their friends, got injured and are admitted to the hospital in the city.

Darshan's forearm got fractured in the accident while Devraj has received injuries to the left side of his chest. Prajwal and one of their friends, have received injuries on their necks. Fortunately, all four are out of danger.

It is learnt that the actors got admitted to the hospital saying that the accident occurred as the tyre of their car got punctured, skidded and went out of control.

Darshan

Darshan was operated upon for the fracture of his forearm. He is still in ICU.

Surgery of Devraj is also started by a team of specialist cardiac surgeons and orthopaedics as he has received injury due to impact on the chest. Out of the four, three people have to undergo surgery as per the information that is received.

All the four were returning to Bengaluru after attending a function in a private hotel. Darshan's mother Meena Thoogudeep and wife Vijayalaxmi have visited the private hospital where he is being treated.
