Bengaluru: Siddaramaiah ends speculations, says ‘no MLAs will leave party’

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (DC)

Bengaluru, Sep 18: Former chief minister and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Tuesday put an end to all the speculations on leaders switching his party with a tweet.

"The rumors of MLAs toppling the government are baseless and unfounded. There may be slight differences over development in their constituencies and that does not mean quitting. None of the MLAs will leave the party. @BJP4Karnataka, led by their power-hungry leaders, is trying hard to topple the government but any effort towards that direction is futile," he tweeted.

Following reports of 'Operation Lotus' the Congress had asked Siddaramaiah to pacifying the disgruntled MLAs of the party.

Earlier Chief minister H D Kumaraswamy had blamed the 'gomukha vyaaghra'(wolf in sheep's clothing) for making efforts to topple the coalition government.

“You know who he is, while quietly accusing the government of not performing.. he is making all efforts to remove it behind the scenes. He is a gomukha vyaaghra (wolf in sheep’s clothing), he is the villain," he had said.

Kumaraswamy had also denied reports that Siddaramaiah was fomenting trouble through the Jarkhiholi brothers. “Siddaramaiah has contributed a lot to the stability of this government which I am confident, will complete five years. His name is being unnecessarily dragged into the controversy”.

According to BJP sources, Yeddyurappa is continuing to woo disgruntled Congress MLAs despite Amit Shah is said to have instructed him over the phone last week to stop making an effort to form the government.

In my why former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah should continue as second term for the betterment of the states development.
Whereas MinisterDK Shivkumar and Jarkiholi should be elevated to central role for the Congress.

As for as BJP ‘No MLAs will leave party’ is only early speculations. The BJP never like to sit in opposition in Karnataka which the party consider gateway to South India.

Though Cheetah is best sprinter and hunter in Jungle, Hyenas always succeeds in snatching pray.

The BJP with abundant money will always try to capitalize on the infighting as long as disgruntle continues.
Perhaps Karnataka is waiting to go the same pain of Jammu and Kashmir and Bihar in coalition which is waiting to happen any time soon.
