Mangaluru: DCP Hanumantharaya transferred as Yadagiri SP

Mangaluru, Sep 16: Hanumantharaya, who has been functioning as deputy commissioner of police (DCP) of law and order department of the city has been transferred.

An order to this effect was issued by secretary in the department of personnel and administrative reforms, Robin Vanaraj, on Saturday September 15.

Hanumantharaya has been posted as the superintendent of police of Yadagiri district.

The state government has issued order to transfer 20 IPS officers.

Hanumantharaya will take charge as Yadagiri SP, the post that remained unfilled after the transfer of Ida Martin Marbaniang.

    Mr. Hanumantharaya did an excellent job in Mangalore as D.C.P. Law and Order. Any one with a genuine suggestion had access to him.

    His relocation to some other city is a loss to Mangalore. I join several others in wishing Mr. Hanumantharaya the best of everything in his future career. May he come to Mangalore as The Commissioner of Police some day
