Mangaluru: St Agnes Degree College holds awareness programme

Mangaluru, Sep 13: Final year students of BBM and BCom of St Agnes Degree College (Autonomous) conducted an awareness programme at three different places.

The first group visited Babbukatte Government School in Kuttar for educating the pupils on Health and Hygiene. The second group visited Munnur Government School,Kuttar and created awareness activity on various disasters such as earthquake, fire, and accident and also trained the students on various self defence techniques. The third group visited Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Government Higher Primary School and High School Kuppala and enlightened the students about personal hygiene.



Games and quiz were also conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners. Students planted a few saplings and sowed seeds. Chethana K M, department of Business Administration and Froidy, department of Botany, accompanied the students.
