Karkala: All UG programmes of NMAMIT are now NBA accredited

Karkala, Aug 21: Established in 1986, Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology (NMAMIT), Nitte is imparting quality education to generate competent, skilled and humane manpower to face emerging scientific, technological, managerial and social challenges with credibility, integrity, ethics and social concern.

As a result of all these factors, all the undergraduate programmes of the institute are now NBA accredited for a period of three years which is valid up to June 2021. An institute which comes under TIER-I category and getting NBA accreditation for all the BE programmes of the institute is an extraordinary achievement of the institute.

As a part of Self-Assessment Report (SAR) submitted by the institute for assessment, the NBA peer team had visited the Institute from January 19 to 21, 2018 for the assessment of three UG programmes and from March 16 to 18, 2018 for the assessment of four UG programmes.

After thorough analysis, the NBA committee has accredited all the 7 UG programs of the institute.

NMAMIT is currently offering Bachelor’s degree (BE) in seven branches of Engineering and PG programmes namely MBA, MCA and MTech in various branches of Engineering. Apart from this, the institute is having 10 VTU recognized research centers offering PhD programmes.
