Hassan, Aug 20: Senior Congress leader P F Saldanha passed away on Sunday, August 19.
He was 76.
As per details available, he was found drowned in the lake near his house during noon on Sunday.
P F Saldanha was the member of KPCC. He was the former member of Hassan zilla panchayat. He served as president of block Congress committee, Belur.
He was the founder president of Belur- Hasan-Sakleshpur Christara Okkoota. He was the honourary president of Federation of Konkani Catholic Associations of Hassan district.
P F Saldanha was a coffee planter. He is survived by wife and four children.
Funeral will be held on August 23 at Our Lady of Fathima Church, Fathimapura near Belur.
