Sullia: Pregnant woman and 10 others rescued from Jodupala by NDRF

Sullia, Aug 18: A pregnant woman and ten others were rescued from Jodupala in between Sullia and Madikeri.

The stretch of 55 kilometres of railway track between Sakleshpur and Subramanya is being restored. Many boulders were spotted on the track near Yedakumeri.

The road between Madikeri and Sullia is closed at present. Road workers are trying their best to clear the road. But due to continuous rains, the task has become tougher.

Earlier Sullia police inspector Manjunath, who went to Jodupala, carried a woman with the help of a rope to come out from where she was trapped in rains.
