Mangaluru: Shiradi Ghat closed till Aug 25 - Kalasa route for Volvo buses

Mangaluru, Aug 17: Shiradi Ghat road connecting Mangaluru with Bengaluru will remain closed for vehicular traffic till August 25.

Because of heavy rains and floods in Kodagu, the road connecting Mysuru has been seeing many landslides. This road has been closed for the past four days.

Hence Charmadi Ghat is preferred by vehicles. As per reports, this ghat now is overcrowded with hundreds of vehicles.

To limit the number of vehicles on Charmadi Ghat, KSRTC Volvo buses will ply on Mangaluru-Karkala-Kudremukh- Kalasa-Mudigere-Hassan-Bengaluru route.

    Karkala-Kudremukh-Kalasa is such a scenic route... Will be a blissful ride for passengers traveling in Volvo.

    STATE NOW IN BAD SHAPE...NO FUNDS..NO DEVELOPMENT.

    If UP develops its good for us only right Lots of migration will decrease and we will get more jobs in our own Land.. we should have equal development among all states. Not only Bluru,mumbai,hyd,chennai,Delhi, pune....
