Atal Bihari Vajpayee continues to be critical, PM Modi visits hospital again


New Delhi, Aug 16(DC): Former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been put on life support and his health continues to remain critical, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences said in a statement on Thursday.

BJP stalwart and the three time prime minister, Atal Bihar Vajpayee was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi on June 11 with kidney tract infection, urinary tract infection, low urine output and chest congestion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited AIIMS again on Thursday he had visited him on Wednesday evening after the hospital statement said the leader had been put on life support.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi too arrived at AIIMS on Thursday where Vajpayee is admitted.
