Bengaluru: Cold war between Siddaramaiah and Kumaraswamy continues

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (DC)

Bengaluru, Aug 16: The cold war between former chief minister Siddaramaiah and chief minister H D Kumaraswamy continues and an incident that occurred on Wednesday August 15 is a proof to it.

On Wednesday, both Siddaramaiah and Kumaraswamy had attended Sangolli Rayanna's 221st birth anniversary celebration. Siddaramaiah, who arrived prior to Kumaraswamy, garlanded the statue of Sangolli Rayanna and addressed the gathering and hailed the contribution of revolutionary. At the same time, Kumaraswamy returned from Independence Day programme at Manik Shah Parade stadium and arrived to garland the statue of Sangolli Rayanna.

Since Siddaramaiah was giving speech, Kumaraswamy chose to remain inside his car for a while. Siddaramaiah, after his speech, waved at the gathering and left the venue. Seeing Kumaraswamy, the organisers of the programme, requested to stay back, but Siddaramaiah refused and left the venue.

After Siddaramaiah's exit, Kumaraswamy garlanded the statue of Sangolli Rayanna.

The awkward moment between two leaders was observed by the gathering and both being tight-lipped without greeting each other, despite being at the venue, has raised doubts whether all is well between them or not.

This is one of the worst govt that have formed govt in Karnataka without people's mandate. Today murderers history sheeters who are inside jail who once belonged to JDS are readying to be released by govt. in Mysuru Bengaluru by weakening cases & fixing witnesses in High Court. Common man is going to bear the brunt.

Why it is irking you, the alliance between Congress and JDS. It is not like Maharastra where as Shiv Sena openly accusing BJP and BJP keeping quiet.

At least here, both leaders chose not to interact because any anti social element disguise as the party follower, can create issues, which is wisely avoided by both leaders.

Kumaraswamy should hail the spirit and IQ of RaGa and the Congress . Being a 3rd ranker, with more than 100 of his candidates losing deposits, HDK has become the CM. LOL. I can understand Siddus feelings . Being 2nd , he is now reduced as a peon of Dodda Gowdru and a messenger boy of HDK and RaGA.
