Hoffenheim extend contract with defender Kaderabek

Berlin, Aug 11 (IANS): TSG Hoffenheim have extended the contract with Czech Republic right-back Pavel Kaderabek until June 2023.

"Pavel Kaderabek has taken a tremendous development with us. Hence, he moved more and more into the focus of international clubs. The fact that he has opted for a contract extension here shows the importance of the club," the German football club said in a statement on Friday.

The Czech international joined Hoffenheim from Sparta Prague in summer 2015 and provided two goals, and eight assists in 79 competitive appearances, reports Xinhua news agency.

"The past years have been influential in my career. I have established myself in one of the strongest leagues in the world and made a big leap internationally with the participation in Europa and Champions League," Kaderabek said after signing the contract extension.

Hoffenheim will clash with defending champions Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga season opener on August 24.
