Mangaluru: SAC Primary School Karangalpady inaugurates school cabinet

Mangaluru, Jun 23: The investiture ceremony of the school cabinet of SAC Primary School was held on Saturday June 23 for the academic year 2018-19.

Joy J Rai Principal of Canara CBSE School, Dongarkeri was chief guest.

The function was graced by the school's correspondent Fr Eric Mathias SJ, the headmistress, Philomena Lewis and the vice president of the PTA, Rekha Fernandes.

Joy Rai in her message said that the student community is the strongest community. She spoke about the five 'c’s' namely character, commitment, conviction, courtesy and courage to build a positive self esteem. She asked the students to have devotion and dedication in order to be successful and also to struggle hard for a successful life. She wished the newly formed cabinet leaders well in their regime and encouraged them to work hard.



The four 'b's' spoken by the correspondent Fr Eric Mathias SJ were to be kind, gentle, compassionate and patient.

The student cabinet then took on the formal oath and promised to uphold the values and tradition of the institute, pledging to take it to even greater heights. The headmistress conducted the oath taking ceremony while the teachers in charge of the cabinet conferred the leaders with badges and sashes.

Philomena welcomed the gathering while Aaron J Saldanha conducted the vote of thanks.
